First you will have to create your cardlink developer account:
- Go to cardlink login/register page.
- Click the register button (if you have already an account, login and skip to step 6).
- Fill in the details. You must use your own details, as a developer (not your client’s).
- Wait for the confirmation email and click the link.
- Go to cardlink login/register page and login.
- Click “Create a new app“.
- In Application Name add your client’s brand name.
- In merchant url, add your client’s url.
- In Model, add Redirect.
- In business partner, add Nexi.
- Click Create App.
- Click the App.
- Copy MID & Shared Secret Key.
Now it’s time to make the WooCommerce setup.
- In Cardlink site, go to Integrations > WooCommerce.
- Download the plugin, upload it to WordPress and activate it.
- Go to WooCommerce > Settings and click the Payments tab.
- Click the Manage button right next to Cardlink Payment Gateway.
- Check Enable Cardlink Test Environment.
- In Select Acquirer, select Nexi Checkout.
- Paste your Merchant ID & Shared Secret Key.
- Click Save changes.
Now it’s time to make a test transaction.
- In Cardlink site, go to Starter Guide > Test cards.
- Go to your site, shop a product and make one succesful purchase with at least one test card.
- After the succesful payment, go to cardlink site.
- Go to My apps and select your app.
- You will there see a Green Passed right next to the Test case status.
- Click Tests Completed.
- In the form, fill the VAT number of your client.
- Click Tests completed.
- Wait some days until you receive an email with the live credentials.
